Ian heads up ABFC’s industry and member engagement, and broadly represent the sector’s interests with governments, associated fuels sectors, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Ian has over 25 years of experience in strategic change, operations and industry development, with expertise in policy implementation, strategic planning, market development and sustainability. He is a Partner of Waterfall Group, Vancouver BC.
Doug leads ABFC’s work to establish and expand effective federal and provincial policies to increase the production and use of sustainable, low carbon biofuels. Doug has over 25 years of experience in corporate and industry development, including a range of senior executive and board governance experience in public, private and not-for-profit enterprises. He is a Partner of Waterfall Group, Vancouver BC.
Fred leads ABFC’s work to establish biofuel carbon value, lifecycle analyses in regulations, and sector engagement in sustainability initiatives. Fred has over 13 years of experience in climate change policy and services, including sustainability standards development, environmental management system assurance, developing emission quantification protocols, fuel LCA models, and Corporate Social Responsibility report verification. He is a Partner of Waterfall Group, Vancouver BC.
Tim brings additional analytical capacity to advance policy and regulation review and to further ABFC’s advocacy efforts. His prior work centered on energy cost analysis, biomass combustion, district energy, combined heat and power and energy modelling. Tim’s practical experience in deep data analysis, computational models and automation in conjunction with his B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo are an excellent complement to the ABFC team.
